Nico Dango Asobi

Dango are types of colorful Japanese sweet dumplings served on sticks. This Nico Dango Asobi pays tribute to the sweets in these sticks and cute dumplings pieces, complete with two different types of sauce toppings.

With the various components included in this set you can create traditional Ohanami Dango (pink, white and green), Shiro Dango (all white), Kusa Dango (all green), Mitarashi Dango (sweet brown sauce) or An Dango (bean paste sauce). There are also lots of games you can play. For example, try the "dango tower", building up the sticks of dumplings as high as possible till they fall down. Who will be the one to topple the tower?

Or you can play a game by lining the sticks facing upwards and then rolling the die to see who goes first. You then divide into two colors (white or green) and take it in turns to try to get three in a row on one skewer. The pink sakura dumplings are then wild cards that can block both players.

Finally, the third game involves putting all the parts in front of the players. Then you roll the die to see what you can pick up (a stick, a pink sakura dumpling, a sauce topping). Once the bonus pink dumplings are all gone the game's over and you compare each player's sticks to see who has won. And all else fails, just make up your own games!
