Balmuda The Plate Pro

Designer teppanyaki griddle

As all meat purists will tell you, there's only one way to appreciate wagyu, Japan's special beef that comes from very specific areas like Kobe, Matsusaka, or Omi: you get a medium-sized steak and you cook it on a teppanyaki, an iron griddle, right there on the table, making sure that every side has been cooked evenly and exactly. If you want to up your game and serve your partner, family, or friends a piece of meat as it was truly meant to be enjoyed, the Balmuda The Plate Pro is your gastronomic ally!

Created by Balmuda, the company that has redefined how to make toast, The Plate Pro features a triple-layered plate with one layer of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel. This design gives the plate better temperature retention, which, combined with the four-stage control switch, gives you perfect control of the plate and what goes on it. Oh, and if you are not much of a meat-eater, the griddle is big enough (380 x 245 x 25 mm / 15 x 9.6 x 1") for such dishes as yakisoba, okonomiyaki, sautéed vegetables, seafood, and even pancakes!
