Kirby Children's Umbrella

Its success with Pokemon has been so big that it's easy to forget that Nintendo long predates the franchise and that its list of successes goes back over 50 years. Kirby, the small plump pink creature from the kingdom of Dream Land on the star-shaped planet Popstar that solves puzzles and eats the enemies that threaten his home, is just one of these many successes and actually first appeared five years before the Pokemon. The Kirby Children’s Umbrella is a fun way to introduce your kids to Kirby or help them celebrate the series if they are already a fan.

Perhaps Japan's most famous contribution to the world of umbrellas is the see-through vinyl design and the Kirby Children's Umbrella has that, at least in part: while seven of its panels are decorated with Kirby, one is transparent so your child can see where they are going even if it's raining heavily. Its length (65 cm / 25.6") has been designed for kids aged between five and eight and with heights from 105 cm (3.4 ft) to 125 cm (4.1 ft). The umbrella is made of polyester with glass fiber ribs and even has a name tag on its closing strap so they won't lose it!
