The Yamaha Silent Electric Violin YSV104 is the latest in the leading musical instrument manufacturer's award-winning line of mute violins that it first launched in 1997. Play the violin with earphones so your neighbors are not disturbed, all while you hear your performance perfectly. This new model (available in brown, red or black) is a 20th-anniversary version that is significantly lighter than previous instruments and incorporates advance technology for an enhanced aural experience. The YSV104 uses the SRT Power System to create a richly natural sound and resonance when you play (very close to the sound of an acoustic violin) and faithfully recreate the subtle differences between what you hear in either ear. The external control box allows the player to select from two types of sounds (room or hall) and allows you to plug in your personal music player or phone.
