Penguin in a Bucket Pouch

Mini bag inspired by Saitama zoo celebrity penguin

One of the events that make the Tobu Zoo in Saitama Prefecture popular is the animal parade where the staff puts the animals on special trolleys and move them around while introducing them to the zoo's visitors. This parade includes the Humboldt penguins that live in the zoo and to make them more comfortable, the staff puts each one of them in a bucket. The sight of a penguin in a bucket has become a big hit among zoo-goers and a social media sensation, so much so that they inspired this Penguin in a Bucket Pouch !

The Penguin in a Bucket Pouch is a polyester version of Bucket Bill, the name the public has given the Tobu Zoo's penguins. It's approximately 11 x 11 x 14 cm (4.3 x 4.3 x 5.5") and consists of a small blue bucket with the top of the penguin's body poking out. The penguin even wears the colored ID tags the real bird wears on its flippers! But this isn't just a toy or mascot you can hang from your bag using its detachable strap: if you unzip it, the pouch opens to reveal a storage space that's a perfect fit for your makeup kit, earbuds, or any other small items you want to keep within easy reach!
