Samurai Helmet Bottle Cap Uesugi Kenshin

Medieval warlord helmet bottle decoration

An era of war lasting over a century is bound to produce dozens of heroes, and Japan's Sengoku Jidai "warring states" period was no exception: the time from the mid-15th to the beginning of the 17th centuries gave birth to most of the legendary samurai warriors, warlords, and generals who have become the stuff of everything from literary works to films, TV series, and manga. And sometimes more unique items, like the Samurai Helmet Bottle Cap Uesugi Kenshin, a miniature version of the kabuto (helmet) worn by the feudal lord of Echigo Province, the area now known as Niigata Prefecture.

Created as an accessory to make your bottles look spectacular, the Samurai Helmet Bottle Cap Uesugi Kenshin is an exquisite piece of craftsmanship depicting in fine detail the samurai warlord's helmet, from the braided cords to the figure of the deity Izuna Gongen that Kenshin had as his protector in battle. Made mainly of brass and aluminum, it is 14 x 14 x 9 cm (5.5 x 5.5 x 3.5") and comes in a paulownia wood box with an acrylic display stand that allows you to use it as a standalone decoration too.
