The Battle of Okehazama in 1560 is considered a turning point in Japanese history: the first of Japan's unifiers, Oda Nobunaga, showed his military strategy skills by defeating his opponents, the Imagawa clan, but it also brought to prominence one of the retainers of the losing side, Matsudaira Motoyasu, who would go on to become Tokugawa Ieyasu, the most powerful shogun Japan had known until then. At Okehazama, Matsudaira/Tokugawa is said to have worn a splendid gold armor, the same one you can now recreate with the Metallic Nano Puzzle Tokugawa Ieyasu Armor Model!
In the Metallic Nano Puzzle Tokugawa Ieyasu Armor Model kit, you find two sheets of metal with all the parts for Ieyasu's armor precisely cut. All you have to do is remove them from their runners using a pair of common nippers and put them together with a pair of needle-nose pliers. You end up with a 45 x 95 x 42 mm (1.8 x 3.7 x 1.7") reproduction of the future shogun's armor, complete with a box/stand featuring his clan crest, the three-leaf hollyhock!
