He might just seem like a cheerful chap but actually the Tama-Robo is very clever. Shine a torch or light at him and he'll roll towards you, changing direction as the light moves.
Not only is he great fun to play with, you'll have a good time putting him together too. Since you only need a screwdriver the kit is ideal for kids to learn about engineering and building things while supervised by an adult. By making alterations to the weighting inside the Tama-Robo's body too you can change the way he moves, so he never gets boring!
