All you need do is fill it with the ingredients, lay it on top of the rice canister, choose one of the several, easily accessible modes using the buttons on the front, and your traditional Japanese meal will start cooking. And if you want to try other, non-Japanese steam cooking (Chinese, for example), it can do that too!
