Princess Mononoke Kodama and Yakul Earrings

Studio Ghibli anime personal accessory

They are not Prince Ashitaka, Princess Mononoke, the Great Forest Spirit, Lady Eboshi, or the wolf goddess Moro. But nobody would dare suggest that Yakul, the giant serow that Ashitaka rides, or Kodama, the small white spirits of the Great Spirit's forest, are less important to the story told by the classic 1997 anime by Hayao Miyazaki, Princess Mononoke. As iconic as any of the other main characters, they can now become part of your look with the Princess Mononoke Kodama and Yakul Earrings!

The result of a collaboration between the accessory store Palnart Poc in Tokyo's Shinjuku district and Studio Ghibli, the Princess Mononoke Kodama and Yakul Earrings are one of a kind each: one features a sitting Kodama and the other the bust of Yakul, both surrounded by plants and mushrooms. They are made of tin alloy and brass, and come beautifully painted. The earrings, which are suprisingly light, are made for pierced ears with a stud and a hanging part, or are available in a screw back clip-on version for non-pierced ears.
