Tokyo is one of the world's major metropolises and, as such, has its own share of great museums and often hosts masterpieces from the collections of other museums in Europe or the United States. What this means is that the average Tokyoite will not only recognize the works of, say, the masters or the European Renaissance but will also love to have a reproduction of it in their home or office. But because they are Japanese after all, they might choose to do it in a different way than just get a poster reproduction of the work. They might, for instance, choose something like the Botticelli Venus Figure!
What is it? A plastic, 150 mm (5.9") jointed figure based on Sandro Botticelli's most famous painting from the 15th century and one of the main reasons people visit the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. You can pose the Botticelli Venus Figure like the original (it even comes with a background panel of the painting) with her clam pedestal and all, or you can choose to create other scenes using the second set of hair and the other pairs of hands that come with it (which include a hand heart and even a V-sign).
