Kyoto Yuzen Colors Vacuum Insulated Bottle

Traditional textile patterns drink flask

Water bottles, especially the vacuum insulated type that keep the temperature of the water of beverage you put inside them for many hours, are all the rage in Japan and have been for years. The Kyoto Yuzen Colors Vacuum Insulated Bottle retains temperatures ranging from 9°C (48°F) to 71°C (159°F) for six hours. Besides being a first-class drink bottle, it is also a showcase of traditional Japanese aesthetics!

The result of a collaboration between Tiger and the Kamedatomi Dyeing Factory from Kyoto that has been in the textile business over a century, the Kyoto Yuzen Colors Vacuum Insulated Bottle comes in three amazing designs featuring some of Japan's most revered themes: a tiger in a bamboo grove, a flying crane, and the sea as pictured in Katsushika Hokusai's classic of classics, Great Wave off Kanagawa. All the bottles have a capacity of 0.48 liters (16.2 fl oz) and measure 7.1 x 7.1 x 20.1 cm (2.8 x 2.8 x 7.9"), so they can fit perfectly even in a small bag!
