The Otona no Kagaku Kaede Drone Flying Machine Kit is the latest issue of Gakken's series of "adult science" sets. Fine-tune your engineering skills and patience with this kit, which allows you to build a small, extremely light flying drone that has just one EPP blade and two separate miniature propellers. The Kaede Drone weighs less than 12g (0.4 oz) and, when flying, will look like a maple tree (kaede) leaf fluttering in the air. The nifty gadget is controlled by a simple infrared controller that has an indoors range of around 5m (16.4 ft).
