It's like you have entered the world of the film itself: the stump of an enormous tree, filled with Kodama, the tree spirits that show that the forest is healthy, along with a waterfall and pool of water, and in front of it all, the Great Forest Spirit in its deer form with its long beard-like mane and big antlers. Every time the Princess Mononoke Water Garden Bonsai turns on, it immerses you in the 1997 classic anime by Hayao Miyazaki that tells the story of the Emishi, the ethnic group of the Tohoku region, and the ancient gods of Japan.

Essentially a diorama from the film, the Princess Mononoke Water Garden Bonsai uses real water for both superb visual and audio effects: keep it on for a few minutes and you will feel more relaxed, as if you are listening to a babbling brook in a forest. It is only 165 x 220 x 125 mm (6.5 x 8.7 x 4.9") so can fit pretty much anywhere, and comes with a tray to prevent water spillage. The diorama has two modes: the regular one where it stays on as long as you want, and the voice input mode where it operates for five minutes when it hears someone's voice.
