It stands out among Hayao Miyazaki's films as the most down-to-earth – if you can say that about a plot that involves a pig pilot! But 1992's Porco Rosso is indeed Miyazaki's most unusual film: if it wasn't for the main character being, well, a pig, it could had been a documentary about prewar aviation, a subject very dear to anime maestro's heart. The Porco Rosso Seaplane Magnet Collection is a unique set of memorabilia from the film, paying tribute to the aircraft that are arguably its true protagonists!
In every Porco Rosso Seaplane Magnet Collection you get seven miniature planes. The seventh plane is a mystery that you have to open the box to discover (we don't know it either!). The set includes two versions of Porco's Savoia (the S-21 and the S-21F), Donald Curtis's R3C-0, Mamma Aiuto's Dabohaze, and two other planes, a red one with Porco's face on it and a camouflaged aircraft with Mamma Aiuot's skull emblem. The sizes vary (see below) and all the planes have integrated magnets so you can stick them on your refrigerator door or any other metallic surface!
