On its own, Tearstar appears to be a simple mirror, whether sitting on a desk or mounted on a wall, but when given power in dim lighting it explodes into clusters of brilliantly detailed and colored stars illuminated from the reverse side of the high-quality glass. It’s great for stylish home décor as well as education about the cosmos.
Tearstar is a highly accurate portrayal of the night sky with 21 different sky-view plate choices, including all 12 astrological signs and multiple seasonal skies. It also comes in your choice of a white oak or acrylic black frame, and a silver or gray glass base. A clear constellation overlay is also included to highlight your selection if you choose to insert it.
