It started as a manufacturer of reed organs in 1887 and even today, Yamaha remains first and foremost a musical instrument maker always developing innovative ways to explore the world of sound. The Yamaha Finger Drum Pad FGDP-50 is its latest offering in the percussion department and is so intuitive and full of features, it'll suit anyone from the beginner who just taps their fingers to the rhythm of their favorite song to the accomplished musician who wants to expand their arsenal or needs something to practice on (and even perform on) when they don't have access to their drum kit!
Using sounds from the Yamaha's DTX electronic drums series assigned to its 18 drum pads, Yamaha Finger Drum Pad FGDP-50 has a maximum polyphony of 64 notes and 1,500 voices and can import up to 100 audio files (WAV and AIFF), giving you as much versatility as you need to create your own 50 presets other than the 12 it comes with. It has 40 different effects, plus a click track with tempo from 30 to 300, and allows you to create 23 different sessions with bass, drums, and percussion. And since besides live playing, you also want to keep your own compositions, it has a recording function with approximate 80 minutes for every WAV file you make!
