When Tokyo-based Hario designed its conical V60 coffee dripper (available here on Japan Trend Shop), it changed the world of coffee in Japan: that simple adjustment to the shape, together with the star-shaped ribs on the inner side, allowed it to saturate the coffee better and enable the water to extract more of its flavor. The only problem is that because of the AS resin material, it isn't exactly portable, especially if you are the camping, outdoors type. If you are, Hario has thought about you and provided the V60 Flat Dripper Zebrang!
Just from the pictures, you might not see the difference between the V60 Flat Dripper Zebrang and the regular V60. But when you touch it, you immediately understand: this new version is made of silicone rubber with a base of polypropylene to fold and slip in your pocket. If you prefer not to carry it in your pocket, you can also get the optional carrying case that has been designed specifically for it. It comes in two sizes, a small one for 1-2 cups and a larger version for 1-4. The drippers weigh only 45 g (1.6 oz) or 70 g (2.7 oz), respectively, and, most importantly, both give you the same dripping quality, which you can now enjoy anywhere.
