Made of Mino ware white porcelain, probably the most characteristic among Japan's many pottery traditions, the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics Mino Ware Plate Edo Purple features a variation on the kumi ichimatsu mon pattern used for the logo of the Tokyo 2020/2021 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This variation is called "Three Fans" and symbolizes prosperity, but feel free to use it as a regular small plate at home or even as a decorative ornament to remind you of the second Tokyo Paralympics.
