Swedish Torch Humidifier

If you are not from central or northern Europe, perhaps you haven't heard of a Swedish torch before: it's a very old school (think 1600s) way of keeping warm by making vertical incisions on a tree trunk and then lighting a fire in the middle. The Swedish Torch Humidifier is based on this idea: the glow of the fire is taken care of by a lamp and the smoke from the "burning" wood is a mist coming out of its humidifying unit!

Unlike its European counterpart, the Swedish Torch Humidifier is not made of wood but of ABS and is 185 x 200 x 300 mm (7.3 x 7.9 x 11.8"), so won't take up much of your space. It has a water tank with a capacity of 2.1 liters (71 fl oz) and you can set the mist discharge using a stepless dial to match your needs exactly. Any amount between 55 and 110 ml/h (1.9 and 3.7 fl oz/h) is possible.
