That the Japanese are constantly taking anime to new levels doesn't mean they have forgotten the old ways and Pui Pui Molcar is the perfect example for that: even though it was created in 2021, this series of short anime films uses stop-motion techniques that are over 150 years old and the result is as entertaining as it is adorable. The Pui Pui Molcars are sentient vehicles that are combinations of guinea pigs and cars. And since they already look like toys, creating a series of actual plush toys based on them was the obvious next step. The Pui Pui Molcar Nibbling Toy, though, takes things even further by making the toy come alive!

The Pui Pui Molcar Nibbling Toy is actually two: you can choose between the beige and orange Potato and the white Shiromo, both about 220 x 145 x 200 mm (6.3 x 7.9 x 6.3") and weighing approximately 380 g (13.4 oz). Whichever you opt for, the toy features a special mechanism developed by robotics company Yukai Engineering. When the Molcar senses that you have put your finger in its mouth, the cute character starts nibbling in five different ways!
