It's increasingly hard to find people who don't love Pokemon and just looking at Piplup (Pochama in Japanese), it's easy to understand why: this light blue, penguin-like Pokemon character with its thick down coat is so incredibly cute when young (although it's somewhat less so when it evolves into Prinplup and then Empoleon in Generation IV!) that it's almost impossible to resist the urge to pet it. Small enough (100 x 60 x 70 mm/3.9 x 2.3 x 2.7") to fit in your pocket and accompany you when you're out and about, the Pokemon HelloPocha Piplup just needs two AAA alkaline batteries (sold separately) to come into life and chirp when talked to, when it senses someone is approaching, or just when enough time passes and nothing has happened. And by "comes to life," we mean that Piplup's head and beak move, and that Piplup's voice changes depending on whether it feels happy, angry, sleepy, or amused.
