Not all stuffed toys are the same: sure, most are made of plush polyester with a soft and thick pile that feels good to touch but there are times when the maker goes for a different approach, as Pokemon Center Japan did with its new Run Run! Desert line. Featuring a Pikachu in cowboy attire traveling with the donkey-like Mudbray in a setting that brings to mind the Wild West, the company opted for a more appropriate material: leather. And so the Pokemon Genuine Leather Pikachu Run Run! Desert Toy was born!
And not just any leather: the Pokemon Genuine Leather Pikachu Run Run! Desert Toy is made of cowhide, the material of choice for real cowboys both in the past and today. Around the neck, Pikachu is wearing a bandana, again in a proper cowboy style with the triangular end hanging on its chest. Pikachu is 35 x 26 x 17 cm (13.7 x 10.2 x 6.7") and in a sitting position, allowing you to place it almost anywhere. With a weight of 587 g (1.3 lb), it also stays put wherever you put it!
