Pikmin Single-Flower Vase

For the standards of a company that has been making successful video games for almost exactly half a century (Nintendo's first arcade game was launched in 1975), 2001 seems rather recent. Still, 23 years is quite a long time, enough for four releases, two spin-offs, and three short animated films. This is what the Pikmin franchise has produced so far and the adventures of the eponymous multicolored semi-sentient half-plant, half-animal creatures might very well become another Nintendo classic. And inspire even more fun items like the Pikmin Single-Flower Vase!

Playing on the idea that Pikmins's heads end in a stem with either leaves or flowers, the Pikmin Single-Flower Vase is shaped like the creature with a narrow opening so when the flower goes in, it looks like a real Pikmin! The vase comes in three colors/types, all with the characteristics of the game characters faithfully reproduced. It's about 13 x 6 cm (5.1 x 2.4") big and made of porcelain.
