Panasonic Echizen Lacquerware Bladeless Air Generator Q
Traditional crafts urushi air circulator, fan
Panasonic has created a unique lacquered version of its popular rotating fan. Looking more like a craft item you might find in Kanazawa or Kyoto rather than a household appliance, the Panasonic Echizen Lacquer Bladeless Air Generator Q is elegantly coated with lacquer (urushi) from the Fukui region. The Panasonic Bladeless Air Generator Q was first released in 2015 and quickly attracted attention as a sophisticated, attractive-looking fan that can blow out seven times more air than it takes in. The ball-shaped, fluidly designed climate control device has specially engineered channels that encourage additional air intake.
This limited-edition version is made to order but the wait will be worth it. Echizen lacquerware has a 1,500-year history and each Q fan is individually lacquered by dedicated artisans.
