It is made by a blend of polyester and rayon woven in a special way that manufacturer Nitori calls N-Warm and which absorbs the body's humidity and turns it into heat so it's much warmer than any other blanket at its weight class (just 1.8-2.2 kg or 4-4.9 lb). As for the smartphone part, it has two holes that allow you to put your arms out while the rest of your body stays under the blanket, plus a button on the back of the neck that makes it fully wearable!
