The Night Book Light is one more of those fine examples of the thinking that has made Japanese design among the best in the world. It's a very simple idea - as often happens with Japanese designs - but executed in a way that allows it to integrate with the environment - in this case, your nightstand or even the desk you work on. The book-shaped light sits discreetly among your books and any time you want to change lighting conditions, the only thing you need to do is slip it out of its leather cover!
The Night Book Light uses LEDs, making its consumption very low (just 4W), and has a long enough cable (3 m/9'9") to allow you to use it even in large rooms. Its light is soft and relaxing on your eyes, and depending on how much you pull it out, you can adjust the amount of light in the room to your exact taste. At about A5 size, it is practically invisible until the time you need it - and it has even been designed in a way that it won't overheat, no matter how long you have it on!
