Like their relatives the koi carp, goldfish can be found everywhere in Japan, all year round: also like the carps, the Japanese love looking at them and enjoying their graceful movements in the water as well as their bright colors. But they are enjoyed the most in the summer and it's no exaggeration to say that they are one of the symbols of the Japanese summer and by extension, a cultural icon. Which is why they were chosen as the theme of the Motifo Goldfish Aroma Stone!
Carved out of a special type of ceramic called Hakuun, the material used for making the famous Seto-yaki ceramic dolls, the Motifo Goldfish Aroma Stone is a perfect likeness of the Japanese goldfish. The only thing missing is the color but thanks to the way Hakuun pottery is fired, the white color is vibrant and almost glowing. So put these fish in a place close to where you usually sit, drip a few drops of aromatic oil on them, and let them diffuse the fragrance: they are available in two sizes (big and small), either the big one alone, two small ones, or one big and two small.
