Marushin Honke Premium Yuasa Soy Sauce Rosanjin (3 Bottles)

All-natural gourmet Japanese condiment set

The name Rosanjin will probably sound familiar to Iron Chef viewers: Kitaoji Rosanjin was a famous artist specializing in ceramics, calligraphy, and traditional lacquerware, and with a special interest in food – enough to open a restaurant in Ginza, right in the middle of the American occupation of Japan! The Marushin Honke Premium Yuasa Soy Sauce Rosanjin is a tribute to the artisan and his love of Japanese cuisine, expressed through what is arguably its quintessential ingredient, used in all kinds of dishes and with all kinds of ingredients: soy sauce.

The truth is, though, calling this just a soy sauce will be like calling a Rolls Royce just a car! Its carefully selected ingredients are specific varieties – the soybeans are osode no mai, the organic wheat is haruyokoi, and the rice is yumepirika – and they all come from Hokkaido, cultivated without any fertilizers or pesticides. Marushin Honke proudly states that its quality and naturalness standards are stricter than even those of the institution responsible for certifying organic products in Japan!
