Marugo Pattabi Split-Toe House Shoes

Classic Japanese-style indoor footwear

That the Japanese don't wear their street shoes indoors is well known. What isn't is that they often wear slippers or special indoor shoes at home because, lacking central heating, houses in Japan often get quite cold! There are all kinds of such shoes available in Japan but the Marugo Pattabi Split-Toe House Shoes stand out not only because they are extremely comfortable but also because they incorporate the classical Japanese split-toe footwear style like tabi socks worn with zori sandals.

With an overall slipper-type shape, the Marugo Pattabi Split-Toe House Shoes can be slipped on and taken off in a second, which means you can wear them from the moment you get up in the morning to the moment you go to bed at night. They are very light (just 90 g, 3.2 oz each) so you can even take them with you when traveling and use them on a plane or while staying in hotels. Thanks to their EVA cushioned sole, you can also wear them without socks. And as for design choice, there are five colors (white, red, chestnut, matcha tea, deep blue) and two sizes (S, M)!
