Kiki's Delivery Service Jiji Clock

Studio Ghiblo anime character tabletop timepiece

US$ 81

It's one of the most memorable scenes in one of Hayao Miyazaki's most memorable films, Kiki's Delivery Service: the young witch gets her first delivery service of a black cat toy, loses it to a crow, and asks Jiji, her cat and familiar to impersonate the toy because it looks so similar. And while what follows is hilarious, the Kiki's Delivery Service Jiji Clock captures a moment where the cat is looking at the stuffed toy with surprise at their resemblance. In other words, what you get isn't just one Jiji, but two!

The Kiki's Delivery Service Jiji Clock is in essence a small 3D sculpture, meaning that (unlike many such clocks) it doesn't have a "good side" and "bad side": you can look at it from any angle you like and get something different. The two cats are standing on a pedestal with the clock mechanism and dial wrapped in a red piece of fabric between them. The whole thing is a compact 83 x 110 x 90 mm (3.2 x 4.3 x 3.5") and weighs just 304 g (10.7 oz), so you can carry it around easily and have Jiji always with you to tell you the time!
