The Kamakura NaFro Tong Former was created with the outdoor crowd firmly in mind: when you're camping, you want to save space and weight so as to achieve the most with the least. In the case of the Tong Former, the question was: Is it possible to combine cutlery and cooking utensils in a very efficient way to save valuable backpack space? And the answer is, yes it is –you just have to think outside the box!
At first, the four pieces that make up the Kamakura NaFro Tong Former set look conventional: two spoons, one fork, and one spatula, each with a length of 20.1 cm (7.9"), a very convenient size between regular cutlery and kitchen utensils. But they are so much more: the same hook on the back of the handles can be used to hang them up and also for hooking them together, creating six different sets of tongs that you can use for all types of cooking or serving. And since the tools are made of nylon 66 with a heat resistance up to 180°C (356°F), you can use them for almost any possible cooking scenario!
