The Kakurega Log Cutting Stand Kobiki makes splitting wood not just easy and safe but also fun: all you have to do is unfold it (the Kobiki folds for storing and carrying), put the log in the center, and just hit it with a hammer. The special blade made in Niigata's Sanjo, one of Japan's blade capitals, tears through the wood effortlessly and precisely. And when you're done, the blade retracts for even more safety. As for the carrying bag, it can be opened fully and used to carry your split logs to the fireplace or bonfire!
