Ittai Othello

Othello, one of the most famous board games in the world, was actually born in Japan as a variation of an older English game called Reversi. So it's no wonder that its next big innovation also comes from Japan: Ittai Othello. Now you can play Othello without worrying about tidying things up after the game, about the board getting overturned and the discs flying all over the place, or the discs getting lost between rounds.

Why? Because there are no pieces! Each square on the Ittai Othello board is actually three-sided, with one side green (empty), one black, and the other white. You can switch between them every time you push the square. In other words, the square itself becomes the piece and it even has a different texture on each side, so you can play without looking!
