Instant Disk Audio

Bluetooth portable CD player

When CDs were introduced in the early 1980s, they was so different from anything else that was around (vinyl LPs, cassettes, etc.) that nobody believed they would eventually become obsolete. Technology being, well, technology, 20 years later they started being replaced by digital formats and streaming services and another 10 years later, their production has almost ended. That never really happened in Japan, though: CDs are still the main way of buying and selling music and this is why you can still find products like the Instant Disk Audio!

Available in three colors (black, white, and transparent), the Instant Disk Audio is a CD player for the 21st century in terms of both design and function: it plays regular 12 cm (4.7") and 8 cm (3.1") CDs (plus CD-Rs and CD-RWs) but also MP3 discs. It supports Bluetooth 5.1 so you can connect it with your favorite Bluetooth speakers or headphones and enjoy up to eight hours of high-quality music. And like most 21st-century devices, the Instant Disk Audio is equipped with a USB-rechargeable battery so you can charge it like you would any other device.
