Ichida Kyoto's artisans have prepared four liters' worth of real hinoki pellets and used them to fill the 100% cotton case of this 18 x 30 cm (7 x 12") blue or pink pillow. Like all traditional Japanese pillows, height can be adjusted through the cords on one side (the other has a zipper so you can take out the filling and wash the case). Traditionally, these pillows are filled with buckwheat chaff but the hinoki pellets are more comfortable and adjustable to your head position, plus the fragrance makes it seem like you are sleeping in a Japanese forest!
