Green Dragon Velveteen Reversible Sukajan Jacket

Special version of 1950s embroidered double-side jacket

Sukajan jackets started as souvenirs for American GIs serving in Japan during the 1945-52 occupation and became fashion icons and symbols of postwar Japanese culture. Tailor Toyo first began making them 80 years ago and continues to do so today. But even by Tailor Toyo's standards, the Green Dragon Velveteen Reversible Sukajan Jacket really stands out because it combines two fashions from the Pacific: the sukajan and the Aloha shirt!

With a spectacular green dragon embroidered on velveteen on one side and an even more spectacular red eagle around Mount Fuji printed on acetate on the other, the Green Dragon Velveteen Reversible Sukajan Jacket is perfect for various occasions, always making a bold statement and guaranteeing that heads will turn. The jacket is available in three sizes, each boasting made-in-Japan attention to detail, right down to the pull tab of the zipper!
