The original Fridgeezoo talking animal milk cartons were very popular - fun and original ways to talk to us and remind us to close the fridge door! Now comes this sequel, the Fridgeezoo Hogen.

Once more the purpose of these funky toys is ecology - don't waste energy by keeping the door of the refrigerator open too long! But there's something novel about these new characters. "Hogen" means "dialect" in Japanese: Not only do these new versions look different (bottles rather than cartons), they also speak differently too!

Each of the four animals has its own voice and dialect from a different region of Japan. So, you can hear a polar bear speaking in Kagoshima dialect, or a posh penguin chatting in the Kyoto vernacular.
The walrus is now, unbelievably, from Okinawa, while the seal hails from chilly Iwate. Plus they are voiced by a mix of professional voice actors and local people, and you can make them speak any time by pressing down on the "cork" on their heads.
