Doraemon Slippers

Not all manga and anime are about action and adventure: ask any Japanese under 60 and they will tell you that they can also be about family and childhood memories. And the first title they'll mention will invariably be Doraemon, the robotic cat from the future that became the friend and protector of an elementary school student. The Doraemon Slippers are made of 100% polyester and correspond to the Japanese shoe sizes 22 to 24 (equivalent to US women's 5 and US men's 6, and EU 35-39). Their inside part is made of urethane foam, giving you the sense that they are hugging your feet, and you can wear them either as shoes (i.e., with the heel pulled up) or like regular slippers. Every time you slip them on, you see Doraemon peeking out from under a warm, cozy futon (on the left foot) or ducking under it (on the right)!
