With the lack of space in their big cities, you'd expect that the Japanese wouldn't often invite friends over for dinner parties. The truth is, though, that they actually do. It's just that they keep the numbers small, like just four or five. It's exactly such a crowd that the Bruno Flat Hot Plate has been created: to help you enjoy broiled, stewed, or cooked dishes right on your tabletop while having a glass of wine or beer with friends!
Most hot plates are just that, a plate that heats up, but what makes the Bruno Flat Hot Plate different is that it comes with a lid, giving you more freedom. In essence, the hot plate becomes a pot or portable oven! It's 260 x 435 x 127 mm (10.2 x 17.1 x 5") with a 220 x 375 x 35 mm (8.7 x 14.8 x 1.4") plate and it has a stepless temperature controller that covers a range between 100 and 250°C (212 to 482°F), plus a big U-shaped heating element that distributes the heat evenly. In other words, it can cook pretty much everything including big chunks of meat!
