On Children's Day every May in Japan, it is traditional to display samurai dolls (musha ningyo) to celebrate the young boys in the family. Yoshitoku, a centuries-old maker of such ornamental dolls, has teamed up with DC Comics to offer this unique crossover version: the Batman Samurai Warrior Display Doll. Here the Caped Crusader has transformed into a historical Japanese samurai, complete with two swords and special armor. Intricately crafted, the doll memorably integrates Batman motifs and elements in such places as the sword hilt, belt, and helmet.
