Avocadomino

Avocado-shaped domino toppling game

The Japanese language has many homophones (words that are pronounced the same but mean different things) so are prone to puns and wordplay: the reason they eat sea bream when celebrating is that its name (tai) rhymes with "medetai," which means "auspicious." In that sense, connecting "avocado" and "domino" isn't a huge leap and this was how the Avocadomino was born, bringing a different twist to the classic game of domino toppling!

The Avocadomino is made of 20 pieces, each measuring 55 x 5 x 25 mm (2.2 x 0.2 x 1") and cut in half like real avocado rings. We all know from the food replicas used in restaurants that the Japanese are amazing when it comes to making fake food! Line them up and then tip the first Avocadomino so they topple one by one, or use them as decorative pieces. Either way, they'll make for some great social media posts!
