Positive hydrogen and negative oxygen ions like those that exist in nature are created by the Plasmacluster engine and emitted onto your hair as they pass through the iron, minimizing heat damage and replenishing its natural moisture.
But the benefits of Plasmacluster don't end there: the invisible film of moisture that comes between the Sharp IB-S8000 Plasmacluster Straight Iron and your hair reduces static electricity, which means your hair becomes smoother. As for friction damage, another issue with hair irons, the IB-S8000's plate is diamond-coated, making it more slippery and this, combined with its cushion plate, not only minimizes damage but also makes it much easier to use. And if you're still worried about damage, the temperature settings range from 120 to 200°C (248 to 392°F) in 20°C increments, so you can customize it to your hair's sensitivity!
