Taiyaki is a traditional summer festival street food made with either red beans or custard fried in a delicious waffle mix and poured into cast iron molds to grill it into a red sea bream shape. While street food delights are often cooked at home in Japan, not least takoyaki grilled octopus dough balls, it is less common to cook your own taiyaki: until now, that is. With this Mini Taiyaki Maker, you have a practical, compact, and easy cooking grill for creating miniature versions of this sweet Japanese classic. There are six molds, enough for making three bite-sized taiyaki "fish" snacks. Just add the batter, your choice of fillings into one half, and then press the grilled sides together after they are done.
