Children in Japan still wear zori, the split-toe sandals that have been an essential part of the country's traditional wardrobe for centuries. And with the Meri T012 Children's Indoor Flip-Flops, created by a small workshop in the east of Tokyo, kids can also wear them at home.
The Meri T012 Children's Indoor Flip-Flops aren't your regular zori, though: the basic design is the same but the body/sole of the sandals is made from a thick 50% polyester, 50% cotton knitting yarn that gives them a unique look and, more importantly, a unique feel. Every time they put them on, your children will feel as if they are walking on a sandy beach! They are available in one size (21-22 cm, 8.3-8.7") and in a beautiful gray and white color combination.
