Ghibli Museum Castle in the Sky Pen

Hayao Miyazaki anime stationery

Together with Totoro from My Neighbor Totoro and No-Face from Spirited Away, the Laputa robot from Castle in the Sky is among the most recognizable characters to have come from the imagination of anime maestro Hayao Miyazaki. That neither of the three speak a word in the films they appear in is a testament to the power of Miyazaki's storytelling abilities. The robot has even become a symbol of the Ghibli Museum in Tokyo (you can see it, life-size, in the museum garden) and now with the Ghibli Museum Castle in the Sky Pen, you can always have it on your desk!

The Ghibli Museum Castle in the Sky Pen is about 126.5 x 7.7 mm (5 x 0.3") and its tip has a diameter of 0.5 mm (0.02"), allowing for very fine writing. It is made of PEFC-certified incense cedar (cypress) wood and you can use its corrugated cardboard box to make a stand for it, meaning this stationery also checks all the right boxes for sustainable development goals. And on its body, the pen features a beautiful illustration of the robot standing with raised arms that you can see from different angles, as if they were frames from the anime!
