Freeze-dried Oshiruko (10 Pack)

Instant sweet red bean soup

Pretty much all Japanese traditional sweets feature red azuki beans in one way or the other. The most prominent is anko paste but sometimes the beans are used as they are or lightly crushed. Oshiruko (or shiruko) is one of these sweets where you can try azuki lightly crushed. Despite its unusual porridge-like appearance, it is very tasty. The Freeze-dried Oshiruko takes out all the fuss of making this classic dessert, allowing you to proceed straight to the eating part!

Each Freeze-dried Oshiruko is a cup of delicious oshiruko with only 92 calories, 1.8 g of protein, zero fats, and lots of vitamin E, sitting quietly in its bag and waiting for you to add water (preferably hot but cold also works fine) and stir. The pack contains 10 bags, so you can try different versions by adding other ingredients. In Japan, besides the most traditional type that is accompanied by mochi rice cakes, it's also very popular as a topping on ice cream, especially vanilla - or matcha green tea-flavored!
