Be@rbrick Ito Jakuchu One Hundred Flowers

Classic painting collectible toys

Among Japan's master painters, the 18th-century Ito Jakuchu from Kyoto is considered one of the most interesting. Even though he lived at a time when Japan was isolated from the rest of the world, he experimented with various painting techniques and his work, his nature-themed art, looks amazing even compared to contemporary European masters. One of his most spectacular paintings is the One Hundred Flowers fusuma panel, which here illustrates the Be@rbrick Ito Jakuchu One Hundred Flowers.

The Be@rbrick Ito Jakuchu One Hundred Flowers is actually a set: a pair of Be@rbrick figures, one in the standard size of about 70 mm (2.8") (the 100% model) and another four times bigger, approximately 280 mm (11"). They have been created in collaboration with Kotohiragu Shrine, which has Ito Jakuchu's original panel, and like all themed Be@rbrick figures, the rendering of the artwork on the figures is stunning, making the pair a true collectors' item to be cherished for years to come!
