Trans Pal 1500 Step Down Transformer 110-130 V to 100 V

Voltage converter for Japanese devices

Thanks to its (still) strong electric and electronic device industry, Japan produces many devices that are only available in its own market. The main problem for using them abroad is, of course, the operating voltage: Japan uses AC 100 V at 50-60 Hz, whereas the Americas use 110-130 V and the rest of the world 220-240 V. And while it won't solve everyone's problem, if you are anywhere on the American continent, the Trans Pal 1500 Step Down Transformer 110-130 V to 100 V will make sure that your Japanese devices works as good as they do in Tokyo!

Step down transformers are devices that decrease the input voltage. In other words, the Trans Pal 1500 Step Down Transformer takes the AC 110-130 V from your outlet and converts it to the AC 100 V that Japanese devices need. Its dimensions are 130 x 195 x 135 mm (5.1 x 7.7 x 5.3"), so it's not going to take too much of your space, plus it's light enough (about 5.5 kg or 12.1 lbs) for moving around using the handle on its top, and it has two 100 V outputs so you can power up a pair of devices of up to 1,500 W at the same time!
