The only things you need to choose are the timer (2, 4, or 8 hours) and mode (low, medium, or high), but if you'd rather not bother with that, you can just choose "auto" and its built-in sensor calculates the environment's humidity and adjusts the discharge accordingly. And as for duration, a single tank can humidify your space for up to 32 hours!
